This second weekend of August adds nothing of consequence, as it’s a bit surprising that all we have is a very poorly-reviewed Dracula movie in The Last Voyage of the Demeter (picked by no one). As one RT Top Critic lovingly shared, “It’s ultimately a doomed voyage: for the crew, for the audience and for Universal’s monster movie strategy at large.” Ouch.
But that’s good for the holdovers, as we should see Barbie (clearly not the same audience) cross $500M and Oppenheimer cross $250M.
