1 new Wide release along with a Wide expansion for Asteroid City this weekend.
Banking on the hopeful resurgence of the raunchy comedy, 1 player selected No Hard Feelings as his sleeper pick. But Boxoffice Pro says nope as it’s projected for only a $13M opening. The early RT scores are good enough at 65%/89%, but I guess folks now prefer this genre in the comfort of their homes vs. viewing in large gatherings like we used to. Remember the days of The Hangover? Ahhh those were good times.
Perhaps last weekend’s openers can capitalize on this opportunity to pad their struggling numbers. I’m just hoping Elemental can crack $100M. Ugh.
